Processing Methods, Fission Product Poisoning And Fuel Cycle Costs For Fluid Fuel Reactors
Description:
The fuel cycles and fuel cycle costs have been investigated for three fluid fuel breeder reactors, the aqueous homogeneous reactor, molten salt, and liquid bismuth. Estimates have been made of the fission product and proactinium poisoning, which determines the breeding ratio and doubling time or fuel yield.
