Uranium Occurrences in the Ambrosia Lake Area, McKinley County, New Mexico

Description: Introduction: The Ambrosia Lake area includes all of T. 14 N., R. 10 W., and portions of adjacent townships in McKinley County, approximately 20 miles north of Grants, New Mexico (fig. 1). Uranium was discovered in April, 1955, and extensive exploration drilling followed.
