Mariner Mars 1964 Mechanical Configuration

Report summarizing the design considerations for the mechanical configuration of the Mariner Mars 1964 spacecraft. The evolution of the design, representative problems encountered during the configuration evaluation, and criteria used in evaluation of succeeding iterations are presented.
