Single crystalline elastic constants of the MgCu/sub 2/-MgZn/sub 2/ system

Description: The adiabatic single crystalline elastic constants of six Mg(Cu, Zn)/sub 2/ cubic Laves phases have been determined by the ultrasonic pulse-echo technique over the compositional range 10 to 50 mol % MgZn/sub 2/ and over the temperature range 4.2 to 300/sup 0/K. In addition the elastic constants of the hexagonal MgZn/sub 2/ Laves phase were measured as a function of temperature. Magnetic Exchange in Oxovanadium(IV) Complexes with N-Salicylideneamino Acids

Description: Copper(II) and oxovanadium(IV) ions resemble one another magnetically in having one unpaired electron in their complexes irrespective of their geometrical structures and bond types involved. Effects of Frustration Tolerance Training on Young Institutionalized Retarded Children

Description: The major problem investigated was to ascertain the extent to which a training program designed specifically to increase frustration tolerance would reduce selected behavioral problems in institutionalized mentally retarded children. Of lesser importance was the problem of examining the extent to which the prescribed training program had differential effects on brain-injured and non-brain-injured retarded children.
