Identity Development of Afghan Refugee Women through Higher Education: Narratives of Enduring Struggles, Self-Authorship, and Humanization

Description: The purpose of the study is to better understand how Afghan refugee women develop their identities through their higher education experiences. The study design is a qualitative, narrative, collective case study. I applied Holland and Lave’s social practice theory of self and identity as the guiding theoretical framework.
