In Assenza Del Doppio

Description: Recording of Roberto Doati's In Assenza Del Doppio. This work is a reduction of the theater piece "Un avatar del diavolo" written by the composer in 2005 for La Biennale di Venezia Music Festival. Gastrointestinal disorder

Description: Recording of Eldad Tsabary's Gastrointestinal disorder. The composer describes this piece as a stylistic departure from the works of Canadian Acoustic-Ecology and Soundscape Composition pioneers. The sounds of this work were recorded in the busy streets of Montréal's Plateau at the end of a very busy Friday night-out. Description: Recording of Raúl Minsburg's A tu meoria. This is a work dedicated to the composers father who passed away in 2003. Nunataq

Description: Recording of Petra Bachratá's Nunataq. The name of this work comes from an old Inuit myth and is Greenlandic in origin; it describes a mountain ridge sticking out of a continental iceberg. In this composition, the composer tries to suggest an atmosphere of the times of the old Greenland civilization. Arrivederci

Description: Recording of John Young's Arrivederci. This composition was inspired by the composer's trip to Italy. While standing in Piazza Saffi, the composer heard church bells around the city and had a strong sense of experiencing the sounds as something resonant of the place and its history. A poem by E. E. Cummings is used in the work as it evoked a sense of eternity and serenity.
