Towards Practical Mechanisms to Address Tacit Knowledge Management in Higher Learning Institutions

This study investigates tacit knowledge management (TKM) in higher learning institutions (HLIs) in Kenya. It identifies challenges such as inadequate infrastructure and lack of TKM policies. Using theoretical frameworks and a mixed research approach, the study proposes a TKM framework to enhance knowledge retention and sharing. The findings emphasize the importance of leadership, technology, and organizational culture in effectively managing tacit knowledge.
