Looking North Toward Confidence: Findings from the Personal Report of Communication Apprehension in Project-Based Learning Contexts

Description: Poster presents research on how project-based learning (PBL) can reduce communication apprehension among college students. Using the Personal Report of Communication Apprehension (PRCA), the study measured students’ anxiety levels in communication settings such as group discussions, meetings, interpersonal conversations, and public speaking before and after completing project-based communication courses. It was presented at the 2026 Student Portraits Data Symposium.
