Dumb Blonde + Superstar

Description: The artwork consists of collage images and small scale constructions that create a tableaux that is then photographed. The black and white photograph depicts a person having sexual relations with himself. Three teddy bears are in the foreground. The room depicted has one window in the background and a small alcove with an octagonal window in the upper right hand portion of the picture. There is a small foot stool underneath and to the side of the window. Dad's Stash of Porn

Description: This photograph was included in the Photo III class exhibition, Lightwell Gallery, September 2012, in the Art Building on the University of North Texas campus. The black and white photograph depicts three young boys finding a stash or pornography. There is a collage element of a nude man with no head, hands or feet. However, through a television set one of the man's hand becomes visible. The man's head appears to be partially removed. The tableaux created from collage and sculpture was then photographed to create this work of art.

Description: This black and white photograph montage depicts a boy in the foreground, somewhat out of focus, peering underneath the central figure. The main figure in the montage clearly has male genitals but the mirror reflection of the face is that of a woman. Mechanical Music

Description: The large vertical painting consists of a dark ground. In the lower portion, five wooden spoons are attached. Along the upper edge is an impression of a hand and a plus and minus sign flank the right and left edges in the upper portion of the canvas. At a diagonal in the lower portion appears a long spatula or spoon shape nestled in a sandy brown area. The surface of the work is complex with numbers, letters and calculations barely visible.

I'll Tumble For You

Description: The vertically oriented painting consists of many textures, colors and motifs. The dark ground is richly textured and covered with words, numbers and calculations sometimes partially obliterated. Two large heart shapes face each other, one in the bottom half of the canvas and the other in the top half. They are also richly covered in texture with letters and numbers. About a dozen forks are attached across the surface of the painting; they tumble from the top to the bottom. Flanking the top and bottom edges are some large X marks with thick top and bottom bars.
