Description: As part of the National Uranium Resource Evaluation (NURE) Program, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory analyzed about 30,000 stream sediment samples from selected areas of the western United States for numerous chemical elements. Cs-137 concentrations in Steel Creek in 1984. Revision 1

Description: Measurement of Cs-137 concentrations in Steel Creek, 1984, have shown that L Reactor flow tests have not changed the Cs-137 concentrations and the initial phases of L Pond dam construction have only caused a slight increase in Cs-137 concentrations. The Cs-137 concentrations in 1984 were about 1 to 2 percent of the EPA drinking water concentration guide of 200 pCi/L. Monitoring the Reproductive Success of Naturally Spawning Hatchery and Natural Spring Chinook Salmon in the Wenatchee River, 2008-2009 Progress Report.

Description: We investigated differences in the statistical power to assign parentage between an artificially propagated and wild salmon population. The propagated fish were derived from the wild population, and are used to supplement its abundance. Description: The Environmental Analysis Section (EAS) of the Savannah River Technology Center (SRTC) conducted a quarterly monitoring program of the Fourmile Branch (FMB) stream and its associated seepline located down gradient from the F- and H-Area Seepage Basins from May 1992 to May 2995. Instream biological assessment of NPDES point source discharges at the Savannah River Site, 1997-1998

Description: The Savannah River Site currently has 33 permitted NPDES outfalls that have been permitted by the South Carolina Department of Health an Environmental Control to discharge to SRS streams and the Savannah River. In order to determine the cumulative impacts of these discharges to the receiving streams, a study plan was developed to perform in-stream assessments of the fish assemblages, macroinvertebrate assemblages, and habitats of the receiving streams.
