CRU-V Development Status and Capability.

Description: This report reviews in some detail the present development status of the SNAP 2/Mercury Rankine Program's combined rotating unit (CRU-V). Included are the test results through September 1966. The pertinent operational characteristic of not only the individual components but also the results of component interactions are included. Fabrication and development which would be required before the CRU would be considered operational is delineated.

Corrosion Products in the Snap 2/MRPCP CRU V Test System. Topical Report No. 35.

Description: The results of a study of the mercury corrosion product problem in the MRP/SNAP 2 system are presented and discussed in this report. It was established in this study that the primary source of corrosion products in the system mercury was the boiler.
