Measuring the Magnetic Center Behavior of an ILC Superconducting Quadrupole Prototype

Description: The main linacs of the proposed International Linear Collider (ILC) consist of superconducting cavities operated at 2K. The accelerating cavities are contained in a contiguous series of cryogenic modules that also house the main linac quadrupoles, thus the quadrupoles also need to be superconducting. Extrapolation of supersymmetry-breaking parameters to high energy scales

A Preliminary Low-Frequency Electromagnetic Analysis of a Flux Concentrator

Description: The objective of this investigation was to conduct a quick, preliminary transient magnetostatic analysis of a Brechna-type[1] flux concentrator to determine its feasibility for collecting positrons in the International Linear Collider. The ILC Marx Modulator Development Program at SLAC

Description: The International Linear Collider [ILC] baseline design requires 576 L-band klystron stations, each supplying 10MW peak RF power to the accelerating structures. Precise predictions for slepton pair production

Description: At a future linear collider, the masses and couplings of scalar leptons can be measured with high accuracy, thus requiring precise theoretical predictions for the relevant processes. In this work, after a discussion of the expected experimental precision, the complete one-loop corrections to smuon and selectron pair production in the MSSM are presented and the effect of different contributions in the result is analyzed.
