Partitioning of cesium in hydrofracture grouts

Description: Phase characterization of hydrofracture grouts was accomplished with the use of optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction, and ..beta..-..gamma.. autoradiography. A laboratory-produced sample containing 1 wt % stable cesium and an actual hydrofracture grout sheet obtained by core dirlling were examined during this work. Demonstration of in situ-constructed horizontal soil containment barrier at Fernald

Diffusion and Leaching Behavior of Radionuclides in Category 3 Waste Encasement Concrete and Soil Fill Material – Summary Report

Thermal denitration and mineralization of waste constituents

A field test of a waste containment technology using a new generation of injectable barrier liquids
