GAMIDENT: a program to aid in the identification of unknown materials by gamma-ray spectroscopy

Description: A computer code, called GAMIDENT, was written to help identify isotopes by their gamma-ray emissions and thus to assist in the non-destructive assay of unknown materials. The program searches a file (called GAMIN) of gamma-ray spectra, from both radioactive decays and neutron captures, for matches with observed photon energies. Posthydraulic fracture report

Description: A series of four, parallel, hydraulically induced hydrofractures were created. The hydrofractures will be used later in Phase I as the loading fractures for slurried explosives. An evaluation of the aerial extent, thickness, and resistance to air flow of each of these four fractures is reported. Effect of Structural Modification on Second Harmonic Generation in Collagen

Description: The effects of structural perturbation on second harmonic generation in collagen were investigated. Type I collagen fascicles obtained from rat tails were structurally modified by increasing nonenzymatic cross-linking, by thermal denaturation, by collagenase digestion, or by dehydration. Changes in polarization dependence were observed in the dehydrated samples. Tank evaluation system shielded annular tank application

Description: We investigated multiple-rate diffusion as a possible explanation for observed behavior in a suite of single-well injection-withdrawal (SWIW) tests conducted in a fractured dolomite.
