Final Report on the Operation and Maintenance Improvement Program for Concentrating Solar Power Plants

Description: This report describes the results of a six-year, $6.3 million project to reduce operation and maintenance (O&M) costs at power plants employing concentrating solar power (CSP) technology. Sandia National Laboratories teamed with KJC Operating Company to implement the O&M Improvement Program. Potential of a solar collector with a stationary spherical reflector and a tracking absorber for electrical power production

Parameter study for a central-receiver power station

Description: The interactions between alignment and focusing strategies and heliostat errors are described and illustrated.
