Lavon, Texas: Crossroads of Opportunity

Description: This report examines the City of Lavon, Texas and its economic opportunities. It gives an overview of the City of Lavon and discusses the development of other small cities in the Dallas/Fort-Worth area. It reports on incentives for Lavon, discusses the organization of an Economic Development Corporation (EDC) and its tasks, offers an in-depth profile of the community in Lavon, and shows economic development strategies with conclusions about their findings.

The Effect of Demographics on Customer Expectations for Service Quality in the Lodging Industry

Description: This study investigated demographic characteristics of 240 Chamber of Commerce members in terms of their expectations for customer service in hotels. Subjects reported their age, gender, marital status, race, educational level, income level and ethnicity, and completed a 26-item questionnaire which measured expectations for customer service. Investigation of a Consumer’s Purchase Intentions and Behaviors towards Environmentally Friendly Grocery Packaging

Description: Article asserts that plastic packaging dominates the US grocery industry, which raises the question of whether consumers are purchasing food that is not wrapped in conventional plastic but environmentally friendly packaging. Retail Site Selection Using Multiple Regression Analysis
