Thermal neutron diffusion lengths in bismuth were measured, and measurements on bismuth--graphite lattices were started. Uranium--fased salt phase and distribution studies were continued. A standard cell was designed for determining solute concentrations in fused chloride mixtures and liquid bismuth solutions.
