A Note on Boundary-Condition Simulation in the Dynamic Testing of Spacecraft Structures
Description:
Report examining sine-sweep environmental vibration tests for spacecraft. One aspect of the dynamic testing of spacecraft structures for design conditions derived for the launch and exit phase, "boundary conditions," is considered for this report. Experiments and their results are described and recommendations are made for fuller utilization of dynamic-response analyses that treat the flexible spacecraft as an integral part of the flexible space vehicle system.
