Description: Paul Schoenfeld (b. 1947) is considered one of the major American composers of the present day to have incorporated many different styles in his music. Description: The computer tries to make sense of what the violin and piano are playing. The humans play from a score or improvise within some notated constraints derived from the other material in the composition. In either case, the computer characterizes the music it is hearing and uses that information to generate a musical response.
