Role of microRNAs and their downstream target transcription factors in zebrafish thrombopoiesis

Mapping hierarchical and heterogeneous micromechanics of a transformative high entropy alloy by nanoindentation and machine learning augmented clustering

A content analysis of research on technology use for teaching mathematics to students with disabilities: word networks and topic modeling

Description: Authors of article conduct a content analysis of research on technology use for teaching mathematics to students with disabilities. They applied word networks and structural topic modeling of 488 studies published from 1980 to 2021. Results showed that the words “computer” and “computer-assisted instruction” had the highest degree of centrality in the 1980s and 1990s, and “learning disability” was another central word in the 2000s and 2010s.

Habitat amount or landscape configuration: Emerging HotSpot analysis reveals the importance of habitat amount for a grassland bird in South Dakota

Description: The authors of the article used pheasants (Phasianus colchicus) across South Dakota, USA as a model species to identify environmental factors driving spatiotemporal variation in population productivity. They found that the amount of grassland at a local spatial scale was the primary factor influencing an area being a HotSpot.

The Subantarctic Rayadito (Aphrastura subantarctica), a new bird species on the southernmost islands of the Americas

Description: Article describes a new taxon of terrestrial bird of the genus Aphrastura (rayaditos) inhabiting the Diego Ramírez Archipelago, the southernmost point of the American continent. The authors state that the discovery of this endemic passerine highlights the need to monitor and conserve this still-pristine archipelago devoid of exotic species, which is now protected by the recently created Diego Ramírez Islands-Drake Passage Marine Park.
