An isotope dilution mass spectrometric method was developed for the analysis of Tc-99 after isolating it onto anion exchange resin beads. A single resin bead containing Tc-99 and Tc-97 spike is loaded onto a rhenium V-shaped filament for thermal emission mass spectrometry.
