Historical narrative about the tribe of Mankiyal

Description: This is a historical narrative by Ghulam Sarvar (a 70-year old male). In this recording, the speaker talks about the journey of the forefathers of the Mankiyal tribe came from Kabul (Afghanistan) to Swat via Peshawar (present-day Pakistan), and then onwards from Swat to Shoshni, a village near their current location Danna. According to this account, the language that they speak today was adopted by their ancestors from the Trawara community. The authenticity of the account is to be investigated. more
