Description: Recording of Luís Antunes Pena's Anatomia. This work was created as a phonetical deconstruction of the text "Amor" by Jorge de Sena. The words provide the sonorous and rhythmical material of the piece and, simultaneously they become itself loud poetry. Suite Paramo

Description: Recording of Manuel Ramos Negrete's Suite Paramo. This work was inspired by the novel 'Pedro Páramo' by Mexican author, Juan Rulfo. The interest of this work lies in it's musicality and poetry, which persist throughout the text. The situations which this piece captures are of a universal nature: resentment, guilt, anger, eroticism, fidelity, and death. This piece was commissioned by Mercier MP Daniel Turp, to whom the work was also dedicated.

Description: Recording of Rubén Hinojosa Chapel and Bérengère de Tarlé's Camello. This work tells an imaginary story by taking elements from real life including the sounds of public transportation in Havana. It is a soundscape of a part of the daily life in Havana. The composer points to the importance of the words in the piece from people speaking and public announcements as it holds symbolism for the Cuban people. Description: Recording of María Inmaculada Cárdenas Serván's Praia das catetrais. This work premiered in Madrid within the framework of the "XI International Festival of Electroacoustic Music - Punto de Encuentro". This work is dedicated to the cliffs off of the north coast of Galicia and mixes the sounds of everyday life with clarinet improvisations. It was commissioned by the Spanish National Radio and the Spanish Center for Contemporary Music. Haiku

Description: Recording of Guillermo Galindo's Haiku. For electronic, pre-recorded sound, voice, and flute. Based on a poem by Michael McClure, Haiku II represents nature and humans transcendental connection. Recorded and processed nature sounds coexistent and the flute material was derived from digital transformations. The original recording includes sounds of crickets, grasshoppers and cicadas and was digitally transformed in order to emphasize harmonic or textural content.
