Joint JET ISX-B beryllium limiter experiment. Monthly newsletter, June 1984

Description: The main goal for the month of June was the characterization of neutral beam heated discharges with the beryllium limiter. The beam injection experiments were begun with 0.53 MW of beam power yielding a total of 0.7 MW with the ohmic power included. At this power level the maximum limiter load was 1.4 kW/cm/sup 2/, and the surface temperature rise was about 300/sup 0/C.
