Pillbox Hat

Description: Pillbox-style hat of faux(?) purple felted fur. The cylindrical crown has horizontal "waist" at mid-point, and a flat top. Surmounting hat is a cone-shaped ornament formed of layers of rhinestone set discs, of "amethyst" in two shades, "aquamarines", "diamonds", and a surmounting "amethyst". Headband

Description: Headband of brown satin and brown mink. The hat is formed on a base of brown satin covered stiffened wire which creates a curved openwork crown running across head of wearer. On the front part of the framework is overlaid a panel of brown mink. At back and on each side is a large brown satin bow.
