Living conditions, morale problems, recreation, medical treatment of enemy POWs, and racial problems are discussed.

Whitman from the University of Texas at Austin Library Tower. This story includes silent footage of the exterior of a building, men assembling for the press conference, and news cameramen including a man from the San Antonio station KONO-TV. The story includes with Kenneth M. Earle of the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology discussing the report including findings of a malignant brain tumor. This footage is referenced by the script "Whitman Report," which has not yet been digitized.
