Photograph of Cecil Ray with his arm around a Bonnie Burns as they walk along a gravel path. Burns carries a gas lamp while the Cecil Ray carries a small pail of sorghum molasses while they both laugh and smile.
Photograph of a handmade wooden gate blocking off a trail through the woods. Junebug Clark narrative: "The Gate to Nowhere and The Gate to Everywhere" always held a form of symbolism to me. As a photographer, I knew no bounds. A closed gate always felt like an invitation that, mostly for good and a rare time or two maybe a little too exciting, I always accepted or was left to wonder what I might have missed.
