Effect of a reactor fuel element failure on the Columbia River radionuclide concentrations at Pasco, Washington

T-TY Tank Farm Interim Surface Barrier Demonstration—Vadose Zone Monitoring Plan

Description: The Hanford Site has 149 underground single-shell tanks that store hazardous radioactive waste. Many of these tanks and their associated infrastructure (e.g., pipelines, diversion boxes) have leaked. Some of the leaked waste has entered the groundwater. Radioactive effluents in Savannah River

Description: Coal bed methane (CBM) wells are being developed in increasing numbers throughout the United States. These are wells that are drilled into coal seams to withdraw ground water (produced water) to reduce the hydrostatic pressure on the coal seam.
