Description: From abstract: The purpose of this report is to present low-flow characteristics of Wisconsin streams at sewage-treatment and industrial plants. The low-flow characteristics are needed to implement water-quality standards for all surface waters of the State. Water-quality standards in Wisconsin are based on the annual minimum 7-day mean flow below which the flow will fall on the average of once in 10 years.

Hydrogeochemical and Stream Sediment Reconnaissance Basic Data for Green Bay NTMS Quadrangle, Wisconsin

Description: From abstract: Results of a reconnaissance geochemical survey of the Green Bay Quadrangle, Wisconsin are reported. Field and laboratory data are presented for 695 groundwater samples, 546 stream sediment samples, and 401 stream water samples. Statistical and areal distributions of uranium and other possibly uranium-related variables are displayed. A generalized geologic map of the survey area is provided, and pertinent geologic factors which may be of significance in evaluating the potential for uranium mineralization are briefly discussed.
