Description: From abstract: "The Crevasse Canyon formation and Point Lookout(?) sandstone of Late Cretaceous age and the Baca and Datil formations of Tertiary age were mapped in an area of 168 square miles in the upper Alamosa Creek Valley along the northern edge of the Datil Mountains, Catron County, N. Mex. The investigation was made to determine the potentialities of the area for producing uranium and to learn the geologic controls for the concentration of uranium."
