Report presenting a taxonomic system for classifying plan succession in the grand fir/mountain maple habitat type in central Idaho. The system is based on a reconnaissance sample of 164 stands: 21 old-growth sites, 19 pairs of old-growth versus disturbance sites, and 105 additional disturbed sites.
