The improvisational language of Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen: A performance study.

Description: Thirteen original transcriptions and subsequent analysis of improvised solos performed by Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen. The transcriptions are analyzed in three categories: harmonic vocabulary, technical devices, and motivic use.
