Operating procedures are important for the safe and efficient operation of the Tritium Systems Test Assembly (TSTA). Innovative approach to asbestos removal

The most common asbestos materials used at the Savannah River site include: steam pipe insulation; powerhouse boiler insulation; wallboards; roofing materials; and cement products. Asbestos was also found in a number of other materials: aprons; gaskets; laboratory hot pads; and talcum powder used for gloves.
