Hat

Description: Hat of beige cotton(?). The crown is designed as a five-sided pyramid constructed of five triangular segments that have concentric chevrons of top-stitching. The cylindrical lower edge has horizontal top-stitching, and a lower band of beige and gold brocade ribbon. Hat is unlined, with inner beige cotton(?) hatband. Designer's label: "Taj of India tm"; Retailer's label: "Neiman-Marcus".

Description: Hat of plastic-coated paper. The hat is of novelty design, with a square crown of flame pink/orange with faint stripes/brick pattern, which is open along the vertical corners. The mostly-oval brim of the same material is set off-center, widest part from side to side, but with more brim at front than back. Pillbox Hat

Description: Large pillbox hat of off-white satin. 3 1/2" high cylindrical crown has a sunken, flattened top, encircled with a 1" wide band of off-white satin, with a flat bow at center back. Edges slightly "waved", being deeper over ears than front and back. The whole is overlaid with off-white net veil which secures to center of crown and extends about 2" below lower edge of hat. Lined in off-white satin, with off-white grosgrain ribbon inner hatband. No labels.

Description: Hat of beige fur felt. The high, domed crown is wrapped by a wide silk satin ribbon woven in a Madras-inspired plaid of olive green, orange, yellow, red, and tan. Description: Hat of red felt. Hat has a high, domed crown of smooth red felt. Around the base of the crown is a wide hatband made of a mosaic of various types and colors of feathers. At one side is a cluster of ostrich and spotted guinea feathers forming a pom-pom, with one long curling brown striped pheasant feather extending up and back. Description: Hat of ultramarine blue felt. Based on a top hat, the cylindrical high crown has an undulating upper edge. Small brim curls up at front and sides, but curls down at back, ending in a point. Around base of crown is wide blue grosgrain ribbon which trails off back of hat.
