Factors affecting visual inspection of thin film network

Description: A study was made of various factors that affect the visual inspection of thin film networks. The effect of various types of reflected illumination, the effect of defect size or shape, the time required for inspection, and the inspection uniformity were evaluated. Automatic lighting controls demonstration

Description: The purpose of this work was to demonstrate, in a real building situation, the energy and peak demand reduction capabilities of an electronically ballasted lighting control system that can utilize all types of control strategies to efficiently manage lighting. Cost effectiveness of long life incandescent lamps and energy buttons

Description: Long-life replacement lamps for the incandescent lamp have been evaluated with regard to their cost effectiveness. The replacements include the use of energy buttons that extend lamp life as well as an adaptive fluorescent circline lamp that will fit into existing incandescent lamp sockets. Description: The 120-B-1 waste site, located in the 100-BC-1 Operable Unit of the Hanford Site, consisted of a concrete battery acid sump that was used from 1944 to 1969 to neutralize the spent sulfuric acid from lead cell batteries of emergency power packs and the emergency lighting system.
