Enhanced Reductive Dechlorination of TCE in a Basalt Aquifer

Description: A field evaluation of enhanced reductive dechlorination of trichloroethene (TCE) in ground water has been in progress since November 1998 to determine whether in situ biodegradation can be significantly enhanced through the addition of an electron donor (lactate). Laser Wakefield diagnostic using holographic longitudinal interferometry

Description: We propose a diagnostic technique for wakefield measurement in plasma channels. A new technique for plasma channel creation, the Ignitor Heater scheme was proposed and experimentally tested in hydrogen and nitrogen previously. It makes use of two laser pulses. The Ignitor, an ultrashort (sub 100 fs) laser pulse, is brought to a line focus using a cylindrical lens to ionize the gas. On the role of mass diffusion and fluid dynamics in the dissipation of chunk mix

Description: When numerically simulating multicomponent turbulent flows, subgrid-scale diffusion of chemical species requires closure. This mixing of chemical species at the molecular level dissipates concentration uctuations, which limits possible demixing and affects other pro- cesses such as energy transport and reaction rates at the subgrid level. Pintle Rod Qualification Test Plan and Report for Roll Pin Relocation

Tank 241-U-103 is one of twelve 22.9-meter (75-feet) diameter single-shell tanks in the 241-U Tank Farm in the 200 West Area of Hanford.
