Porous body model for predicting temperature distributions in wire wrapped fuel and blanket assemblies of a LMFBR

Description: Existing methods of thermal analysis of a wire wrapped rod bundle of a Liquid Metal Fast Breeder Reactor are based on the principle of subchannel analysis. A model for thermal transport in wire wrapped rod bundles is developed here. Vibration of fuel bundles

Description: Several mathematical models have been proposed for calculating fuel rod responses in axial flows based on a single rod consideration. Fundamental Approach to TRIGA Steady-State Athermal-Hydraulic CHF Analysis.

Description: Methods are investigated for predicting the power at which critical heat flux (CHF) occurs in TRIGA reactors that rely on natural convection for primary flow. For a representative TRIGA reactor, two sets of functions are created.
