2004 Progress Report for Grant No. DE-FG03-03NA00076 Nuclear Level Densities and Gamma-ray Strength Functions: Stewardship Sciences Academic Alliances Program

Description: To verify the apparent large enhancement of the radiative strength function in light and medium nuclei, the 56Fe(n,2gamma)57Fe reaction was measured. Description: Cross section measurements were made of prompt {gamma}-ray production as a function of incident neutron energy on a {sup 48}Ti sample. Partial {gamma}-ray cross sections for transitions in {sup 45--48}Ti, {sup 44--48}Sc, {sup 42--45}Ca, {sup 41--44}K, and {sup 41--42}Ar have been determined. Abortion: Legislative Response

Description: The primary focus of this issue brief is legislative action with respect to abortion.
