Design Report: Turbine Power Control Valve for Use as Diluent Control Valve in Cryogenic Service

Description: A design analysis of the Turbine Power Control Valve was conducted to investigate its suitability for use as a Diluent Control Value. Factors of safety used in the analysis were 1.25 for yield strength and 1.50 for ultimate strength. All margins of safety calculated for the components were positive. The results of this design analysis indicate the valve is suitable for use in cryogenic service.
