Description: Calotte of maroon satin and black sequins. Hat styled with rounded low crown of maroon satin covered with scrolling lines of black sequins. The lower edge of the crown is shaped into irregular points and curves and is edged with black velvet. A short black veil encircles the hat and ties in back with two black velvet bows.

Description: Handbag of tan tooled leather with detailed motif on front and back. Motif on front shows the sky, palm trees, pyramids, and sand on which a person is resting with a camel; motif on back shows what may be Egyptian blue lotus flowers (water lilies). Toque

Description: Toque of black velvet. The circular, domed crown is of black velvet. The black velvet brim at sides and front folds up around crown, and is gathered ruched/shirred to form horizontal "tucks" around the crown. At front of hat the brim extends somewhat higher than back. At sides and front of hat are black netting veil. Hat is lined in black fabric. Hat has an inner black grosgrain ribbon hatband. There are no designer's, maker's, or retailer's labels in the hat.
