Synthesis and Reactions of Some N-Nitrosamines

Description: Nucleophiles react with the α-acetoxy derivative of α-hydroxybenzylbenzylnitrosamine at the carbonyl carbon of the acetoxy moiety followed by fragmentation to the very same intermediates formed by oxidative metabolism.
