An Investigation of Psychophysical Color Phenomena and their Application to Interior Design

Description: The purpose of this study is to analyze and select those psycho-physical color phenomena adaptable to interior design. Among these are phenomena relating to variations in intensity and purity, visual stimulation, spatial relationships, and psychological factors; this study contains suggestions for possible application of these phenomena to strengthen the quality of interior environments.

An Audio-Visual Presentation Designed for Motivation of Certain Elementary Art Students

The subproblem was to compare the emphasis placed on the practices as reported by the high school teachers with the emphasis as recommended by national science education specialists, teachers of biology, chemistry, and physics in selected Texas colleges and universities, and teachers of professional education courses in selected Texas colleges and universities.

The Effectiveness of a Self-Instructional Approach to Teaching a College French Diction Course for Vocal Music Students

Description: The primary purpose of the study was to test a self-instructional approach to teaching a college French diction course to determine if it would equal or surpass in effectiveness a course taught by a traditional approach. The study sought to provide a partial solution to the problems of the increasing student-teacher ration in colleges, and of the individualization of teaching students who have various learning rates and backgrounds.
