Photographs of the 2003-2004 artist's book competition winner "A Space Between Us" created by Lisa Tristan Mellot (aka Elizabeth Mellott-Carreon). Each of the twelve volumes of A Space Between Us consists of fired clay covers that enclose handmade paper pages.
