Assessment of methanol electro-oxidation for direct methanol-air fuel cells

Description: The Office of Energy Storage and Distribution of the US Department of Energy (DOE) supports the development of a methanol-air fuel cell for transportation application. Barrier Erosion Control Test Plan: Gravel Mulch, Vegetation, and Soil Water Interactions

Description: Soil erosion could reduce the water storage capacity of barriers that have been proposed for the disposal of near-surface waste at the US Department of Energy's Hanford Site. Gravel mixed into the top soil surface may create a self-healing veneer that greatly retards soil loss.
