The objective of this program is to develop process and handling technology required to allow large volume, low cost terrestrial solar array production. Emphasis has been placed on module lay-up and interconnect and edge sealing. During this reporting period, progress has been directed toward automated interconnection and lay-up of solar modules using a Unimate model 2000B industrial robot.
