The Hawaiian Monk Seal in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands, 2001

Description: The following document reports the findings of the studies of the endangered Hawaiian monk seal during 2001 in all of its reproductive sites in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. This document contains information evaluating the status and trends of monk seal subpopulations; natural history traits such as survival, reproduction, growth, behavior, and feeding habits; and the success of various activities designed to facilitate population growth.
