Existence and Flow Behavior of Gas at Low Saturation in Geopressured Formations: Final Report
Description:
Report examining a hypothesis for determining the reason why a geopressured brine well tested for the Department of Energy in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana, produced gas and bring at a ratio far above the solution ratio for the gas in that brine. The report describes how trapped gas saturations develop, how low gas saturations develop and dissipate, evidence for low gas saturations and how they are detected, and behavior of low gas saturations during flow in a reservoir.
