Description: Bound compilation of sheet music. The dates of publication range between 1840 and 1880, and most of the publishers' imprints were located in New York or Philadelphia, along with several other locations. Discard stamps from the Columbus, Ohio public library, and a stamp for R.B. McAdow, Music Dealer in the same city suggest the compiler's residence was also there; the name Minnie S. [Binder's Collection: Sarah Carpenter]

Description: Bound compilation of sheet music collected by Sarah Carpenter. The collection includes many works arranged for piano from larger works such as operas, as well as galops, marches, and fantasies. Eugène Ketterer, Brinley Richards, and William Vincent Wallace have multiple works in this volume. About half of the titles were published in New York City, with others in Philadelphia and Boston, as well as several European cities.

Description: Bonnet of blue silk. Brim is hand-quilted in square corners and curving lines that follow the shape of the brim in even lines. The brim is composed of 3 pieces of silk fabric, which are pieced together and then quilted. Cotton used as batting material throughout. Description: Ladies dainty evening/bridal slippers of ivory silk satin. Handcrafted with square toe and minute bow at throat of shoe. Straight soles. Ribbon ties (missing on left shoe). Description: Envelope addressed to Charles B. Moore, Millright, Sherman (Texas) that has a post mark from McKinney, Texas, September 13. A note in the lower right corner says that it was read on September 25, 1840. Another note is on the lower left corner and it reads, "Care of Hall & Chapman."
