Description: This article documents the presence of the common wasp Vespula vulgaris (Linnaeus 1758) on Navarino Island, Cape Horn Biosphere Reserve, Southern Chile. The common wasp V. vulgaris is an introduced species in the Southern Hemisphere that has been reported in Australia, New Zealand, Tasmania, Argentina and South-central Chile.
