Description: Interview with former Democratic journalist and member of the Texas House of Representatives David Allred from Wichita Falls, Texas. The interview includes Allred's experiences while serving in the Sixtieth Legislature as well as his personal views on the influence of lobbyists, rules of the House, power of committee chairs, defeat of pari-mutuel betting bill, the value of the Texas Legislative Council, and annual legislative sessions.
